Lily Allen to get married in Chanel wedding dress 2011: Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld has been commissioned to create Miss Allen’s wedding gown. While speculation continues concerning the possible bridal gown choices of both Kate Middleton (will it really be McQueen?!), and Kate Moss (will John Galliano be up to the challenge?), one person who has got her wedding day attire sorted is Lily Allen.
According to WWD , the singer was spotted at the Chanel headquarters in Paris on Monday afternoon, patiently waiting for a wedding dress fitting. “I’m here to see Karl for my wedding dress” she disclosed.

Allen, who is due to marry long-term boyfriend Sam Cooper this year, was signed up by Lagerfeld in 2009 to star as the “face” of Chanel’s Coco Coccon handbag line, and have been fashionable friends ever since. She even performed live at Chanel’s spring/summer 2010 show , and as one of the French luxury label’s ‘ambassadors’, she is rarely pictured without a Chanel bag dangling from her arm.
Today she was on the front row at the autumn/winter 2011 show, which was held at the Grand Palais in the French capital. Perhaps Allen was eyeing up a potential going-away outfit?
